Home/Pump and dump /The massive buy of the stock
In the first page detailing this scam, I outlined the general model of the "pump and dump" scam and explained how the performance of the Winto stock(symbol:8238) followed this pattern. In the first part of this scam, we observed that:
  • The stock had shown an exceptional performance over several months.
  • Russ Mould and his assistant had launched a campaign to encourage members of the WhatsApp group to invest heavily in the stock, predicting a performance of over 300% in the coming days.
  • By the first business day after the last group purchase of Winto shares, the stock had dropped 97%.
On this page, I will explain how I came to the conclusion that Russ Mould and his institution are the authors of this scam.
malicious investors
I have at least four pieces of evidence that Russ Mould and his institution are behind this scam:

1- Evolution of Winto share price
Looking at the price of the stock the day after its fall, we find that:
  • Trading volume in the stock was very high in the three days following the decline, indicating significant buying volume.
  • In three days, the stock rose from $0.1 to $0.420, an increase of 320%, exactly in line with Russ Mould's campaign predictions. Since the scam plan was more malicious than the model itself, the stock's decline on August 7th provided new investment opportunities for the scammers, who presumably began a massive stock buyback. These developments confirm Russ Mould's predictions in his WhatsApp campaign and are the first indicator of his responsibility for this scam and his perfect mastery of the share price.

2- The silence of Russ Mould and his assistant to my questions
Understanding the stratagem, I wrote to Russ Mould on August 8 to ask whether they reinvested in the stock or closed their positions. Unsurprisingly, he did not respond.

My unanswered question to Russ Mould
About four hours later, I asked Russ Mould's assistant Anne Novia the same question. She didn't answer my question, and merely advised me against buying, even though the stock was rising sharply.
This silence demonstrates that Russ Mould and his institution are hiding their investment strategy from their partners, and is a further indicator of their responsibility in the scam.

3- The authors of the scam knew the day the stock would stop rising and fall again because they had planned a massive resale: As I had already realized on August 08, the winto share was on the way up, so before the market closed, I bought the stock again with the little liquidity I had left in my account. On the third day of the stock's progress, I asked assistant Anne Novia what would be the right day to close my position. She replied that I could close it at the next market opening. The next day, the market proved her right: the stock had fallen by -26.19% and continued to fall over the next two days by -26.13% and -17.47%.
This point shows that Russ Mould and his institution had total control over the share price, which they manipulated at will, both upwards and downwards.

4- Russ Mould's compensation plan
to sum up, the scammers have made a profit so far on two occasions:
  • On the first massive sale of the winto share, which led to its first fall of 97%.
  • During the second resale after the second massive buy-back following the first share fall.
but the scamer's greed wasn't going to stop there. Russ Mould had planned a compensation plan which, as described on the following page, is nothing more than phase three of the scam.
These converging elements solidify the accusation that Russ Mould and his institution are the perpetrators of this scam.
scamers
Although several indicators suggest that this is Russ Mould of AJBell Bank , I do not have irrefutable proof. Since this is a scam, identity theft is possible. Therefore, when I mention Russ Mould in this article, I am referring to the WhatsApp account with that identity, which may not be the real Russ Mould, similar to AJBell Bank . It is up to each individual to make the connection or not with the real Russ Mould and the real AJBell Bank .
